Charleston Civic Center :: SOLD OUT Sugarland Ad

As a way to say "thanks" to the concert promoters and booking agents who arrange such shows, BBCG created this ad for longtime client Charleston Civic Center. Not only does this ad offer gratitude to those responsible for bringing Sugarland to the capital city, but it highlights the fact that our city can still deliver an audience. And a sell-out, at that.

This particular ad will run in the August 2011 issue of Pollstar, a trade publication that covers the worldwide concert industry.

KEYS 4 HealthyKids :: Piedmont Elementary School Partnership Banner

BBCG created this 3' x 8' banner to promote the partnership between client KEYS 4 HealthyKids and Piedmont Elementary School, located in Charleston's historic East End District. It's strategically placed at the crossroads of the playground and the school's cafeteria. The purpose of KEYS is similar to that of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative, which works to combat childhood obesity by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and getting informed.

In addition to the logo and the banner above, BBCG also designed KEYS 4 HealthyKids-themed signs for local community centers and community gardens, as well as decals for various physical activity sites throughout the city of Charleston. We're proud to be a part of this critical campaign.

Putnam County Bank :: 49% Market Share Ad

Putnam County Bank has been in business for over a century. During this time it has witnessed, just as the county situated between Huntington and Charleston it calls home, substantial levels of growth and expansion.

Part of this growth naturally brought with it competition from other financial institutions, and many of them. But Putnam County Bank remains the biggest bank in Putnam County. And as of June 2010, it held a remarkable 49% market share. That is a phenomenal achievement.

BBCG created this color ad to promote the achievement, and placed it strategically in local and state newsprint. It is also worth noting that we arranged and managed the photo shoot that captured the image. We also created the PCB logo found at the bottom of the ad.

Covenant House of West Virginia :: "A Place to Call Home" :30 Commercial

"A Place to Call Home" is a :30 television commercial for Covenant House of West Virginia and its HIV/AIDS Residential & Resource Program. It features the talents of actress and Charleston, West Virginia native Ann Magnuson, who portrays every character featured in the spot.

GEO-RHEA :: Logo

GEO-RHEA is a geographic information system (GIS) solutions provider, specializing in 3D analytics and modeling, field data verification, mapping and much more. Based in West Virginia, their services are applicable world-wide but currently focus on the mining and natural gas industries in our general region.

BBCG worked closely with GEO-RHEA to create a logo that speaks to the nature of their business while presenting a modern and industrial appeal. And the tagline – What On Earth Are You Doing? – adds a nice bit of whimsy. The name pays homage to the Greek goddess Rhea, who was known as "the mother of the gods."

Prestera Center :: The Face of Addiction, The Place for Recovery - Billboards

These billboard designs were part of a multi-media campaign for the Prestera Center for Mental Health Services, Inc. and its Addictions Services for the Charleston, W.Va. area. The campaign also included a television spot and print ads.

What's unique about this campaign is that we utilized six different images on the posters instead of a single design. This helped highlight the fact that addiction does not discriminate against race, age, gender or socioeconomic status.

Charleston Jazz Series :: The Bob Thompson Unit - Promotional Brochure

We've posted samples of Charleston Jazz Series brochures in the past, but since this upcoming performance is from local jazz stalwarts The Bob Thompson Unit, we had to share. Having performed around the country and throughout the mid-western region for many years, they primarily play original compositions with classic tunes and standards included in the mix.
